Senior Credit Risk Analyst

We’re looking for bright, articulate candidates with a strong balance between intelligence and humility - to join the Risk team of a forward thinking Financial Services client based in South Yorkshire – with some very exciting plans and projects happening over the next couple of years. This client is based in East Sheffield, easily commutable from Worksop, Sheffield, c25 minutes from York on the train – great location and against the grain of the commute.

The initial role will be in Portfolio Management - though our clients offer genuine variety in their roles, giving the successful candidate a great overall experience within Credit Risk. For this role we require candidates to have the following skills and experience:

• Experience in an Analytical role, preferably from a Finance background, ie -Credit Risk Analyst (Secured OR Unsecured) Insight Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Risk Analyst, Senior Risk Analyst, Econometrician etc
• You’ll have modelling and coding skills, in SAS or similar – SAS is NOT a pre-requisite
• Strong commercial acumen
• Bright, with a strong Degree in a numerate subject…
• Hunger to succeed - with evidence. Both in professional and personal life !
