Senior Compliance Officer (German speaking)

Responsibilities:

Handling of due diligence requests from business partners and support the legal & compliance team in the collection of assessment of due diligence documentation received
Assisting the company in the fulfillment of compliance requirements from the fields of AML/CFT, Data Protection, Responsible Gaming and Consumer Protection as set forth by the authorities
Support player-related and business risk assessments
Organising documentation in an orderly filing system
Assist in the assessment of laws & regulations in different jurisdictions and the compliance obligations arising thereof
Contributing to designing, implementing, and maintaining internal compliance manuals, policies, procedures, and systems and being proactive in suggesting improvement to existing processes
Assisting the legal & compliance team in the development of the compliance training programs and contributing to raise awareness
Providing operational internal compliance advice
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

2+ years’ experience in a compliance position within the iGaming industry with strong focus and exposure within the German market
University degree in a compliance-related field would be an advantage
Excellent oral and written skills in German and English
Proficient use in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong analytical skills required to organise and analyse data and tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and manage own workload while being part of a motivated team
Team player with customer-oriented mind-set
Excellent communication skills
Organised with a good eye for detail
Experience with customer database is a plus
