School Teacher- Singapore Math
Job Description
As part of our growth in new school year, Viking International School in Copenhagen is looking for an experienced school teacher having hands-on experience in teaching Singapore Math. We are a new international school opened from August 2020.
It is essential that you are a proactive person who takes responsibility and ownership of the tasks and you are flexible when it comes to responsibilities and tasks natural to a new school, beyond your classroom responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Planning and implementation of lessons/ activities within overall curriculum framework
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe on continuous basis
• Planning and implementing outdoor and extra-curricular activities
• Assist in observation and recording children’s growth, development and behaviour
• Build good, open and constructive communication with children, families, administration and staff
• Communication with parents and external communications as and when required

Requirements
General Requirements (Language, Education and Experience):
o Bachelor's degree in Education or Teaching Qualification
o Native level fluency in English ( Minimum C1 level; IELTS band 7 and above ) is required.
o At least 5 years’ experience in teaching in schools
o Atleast 3 years' hands-on experience in teaching Singapore Mathematics (curriculum and pedagogy) in early years
o Demonstrable experience in Differentiated Learning and Positive Behaviour Management is required
o Proficiency in Microsoft applications and game-based-learning platforms is necessary
o Bachelor's degree in Education or Teaching Qualification
