Job Description

SUMMARY

The IT ERP Analyst supports users with day-to-day issues in the SAP ERP system to the various departments of high-quality, custom-engineered towing, trailering, cargo management and other related accessory products. The position requires a self-motivated individual, who can manage workload and who has solid IT technical skills and acumen. The ideal candidate must be customer-service oriented with a drive to help users in a timely fashion. The position reports to the IT Director – Europe and Africa.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive, track, manage notifications and requests, and provide SAP system support for internal users on-site and remotely, including on-call support off-hours;
Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues in the SAP system;
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the ERP system including master data set up and business use of the system;
Support users in a variety of modules mainly Procure to Pay, Order to Cash processing - a MUST. Additional support in Master Data (BOM), Inventory, Production Planning (MRP) and Production (Shop Floor) may be required – optional requests;
Gather requirements from end users, facilitate business process discussions, and participate in solution design, documentation, configuration, test, and end-user support;
Work closely with the business and other IT members to ensure proper system maintenance and to provide automated solutions;
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for processes, policies, and procedures through statistical analysis. Continually look for ways to drive SAP best practice processes and procedures. Work as a liaison and subject matter expert between technical teams and business owners for system updates, root cause analysis, and solution recommendations;
Analyze business cases to measure adherence to standardized practices and data governance standards;
Make configuration changes and prepare development work for transport;
Support user set up in role-based security;
Train users with efficiencies in system processing;
Manage work queues and balance priorities;
Ensure master data integrity for input and reporting capabilities;
Create and modify related documentation and recommends process improvements including system/business workflows;
Create queries and standard reports;
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum two years experience in supporting users in the SAP commercial system is required;
* Technical diploma;
* Experience in helpdesk software;
* Ability to work on multiple assignments at the same time;
* Positive team player with ability to work individually and in a team environment;
* Skill in organization and attention to detail;
* Customer service experience;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies;
* Flexibility in responding to job demands;
* Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise;
* Strong English language skills.
