Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Are you passionate about reporting and big data analyzing? A pioneer in the banking industry is seeking to recruit a bright Regulatory Reporting Analyst to strengthen the Finance Team in Malta. The selected candidate will be responsible for enriching and validating large amounts of data used for regularity reporting and compiling regularity returns.

What is expected of you?

Prepare regulatory returns
Query, analyse and enrich data required for regulatory reporting
Analyse the impact of business decisions and restructuring on the bank’s regulatory ratios
Assist with queries from external auditors, the MFSA and the ECB
Generate automated daily or weekly regulatory ratios for internal use
Identify client behaviours and organise into segments for regulatory submissions
Forecast regulatory ratios
Other duties as may be required

What are you expected to bring?

Degree in accounting or other finance related qualification
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tool, especially MS Excel
Strong problem-solving skills
Pro-active and able to work on own initiative
Aptitude towards personal development
Knowledge of MySQL, data extraction and analysis would be considered an asset
