QA Engineer

If you are an enthusiastic IT Engineer and can work on your own initiative, we want to hear from you! A client of ours is seeking to recruit a QA Engineer to be part of their highly collaborative team.

What is expected of you?

Work with the product manager and software developers on building efficient and effective ways for manual and automated testing
Design, build and maintain test cases for the company’s products and scanning engine
Document clearly and track any bugs identified in the company’s bug tracking system
Test fixes for defects identified and ensure that no new bugs have been introduced
Develop automated tests
Use various tools to identify memory problems

What are you expected to bring?

A university degree in IT or equivalent
A general understanding of how software works
A good understanding of web protocols
Hands on experience using the Windows and Linux operating systems
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to write scripts or develop small applications
Has an interest in IT security
