QA automation developer

Fast-growing Silicon Valley company is looking for a QA engineer, who will become a part of the professional team that develops complex and highly interactive web-based applications. The company has 6 offices on 3 different continents, but the majority of the team works remotely. We offer you a remote job with zero commuting to work; your schedule is flexible — only you control your hours. You must be capable of independently leading a project from start to finish. You'll:

1. Recognize flaws in any process and make it better or replace it
2. Develop automated acceptance tests using js and Selenium WebDriver
3. Participate in constant refining and improvement of all QA processes
4. Inspect and report quality issues
5. Monitor all operations that affect quality
6. Ensure that our product is stable via identifying and documenting bugs via manual testing
7. Develop and maintain test-plans, specs and other sorts of documentation
8. Ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers

We’re looking for someone with:

1. Strong technical background in web app quality assurance and knowledge of testing basics
2. Experience with at least web/app/mobile/e-commerce kind of projects
3. Experience with issues tracking and test case tracking tools
4. Experience with Selenium Webdriver/ developing tests based on Selenium WebDriver
5. Knowledge of SQL basics
6. Knowledge of source code management tools
7. Experience with *nix console interface
8. Experience in Agile development/team work
9. Excellent communication skills
10. Responsible working style and outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
11. Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and methodically
12. Ability to understand complex systems, strategic planning skills, and extreme attention to detail
13. Proficiency in written and spoken English skills

Nice to haves:

1. Knowledge of JS acceptance testing frameworks
2. Experience with performance and security testing
3. Experience with CI tools
