Payroll Specialist (Part time)

Alphanumeric is looking for a Payroll Specialist (part time) to work from home and join our amazing team in Lisbon!

Alphanumeric is a multinational IT solutions company in the market for over 30 years and with operations in 6 different countries. Our Portuguese office is based in Tagus Park.

This is a work from home position. To be eligible you MUST be located in Lisbon.

You MUST have:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 2 years in payroll administrative experience or equivalent combination
• Proven experience with HRIS, Omnia and Primavera HR Software
• Full proficiency in English

Main responsibilities

• You will be responsible for compensation and benefit plans management
• Be the primary responsible for control the payroll processing, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay system is correct , importing expense reimbursements, employee validations, and benefit changes
• Deal with external suppliers negotiating benefits such as medical insurance, ticket restaurant, medical appointment and ad hoc duties
• Calculate the correct amount, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system
• Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
• Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
