GCS recruitment are searching for a motivated Operations Manager to join one of the leading financial companies in Malta.

The responsibilities are as follows:

• Evaluating current procedures and proactively recommending improved practices for adoption
• Keeping Standard Operating Procedures up to date
• Liaising with the Head of Operations, as well as the Chief Operating Officer to ensure that the teams are constantly operating both effectively and efficiently in order to be able to meet deadlines
• Managing and overseeing the day-to-day functions of the Operations and Trade Desk teams

Requirements

Requirements:
• Achieved a degree in Banking and Finance
• Having previous experience in a similar role and excellent knowledge of a financial institution would be an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Great communication skills and having the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Having a great work ethic and a friendly, positive attitude
• Be organised and detail oriented with an eye for detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Be a team player
