Norwegian Medical Information Specialist (Remote)

Alphanumeric is hiring a licensed Medical Information Specialist to support our international virtual Covid-19 call center.

Candidates can be based either in Portugal, UK, Spain, Poland. We are looking for bilingual candidates in several languages (French, German, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Ukrainian, Italian and others)

Responsibilities

Provide support to HCP team on inquiries via phone, email, or web chats from healthcare professionals, consumers, and patients handling adverse events, product quality complaints, HCP and patient education
Provide phone support to health care professionals and consumers regarding adverse events, product quality complaints, medical inquiries, product support, and other needs as required. This does not include commercial sales support
Receive, triage, review, and process Lifecycle safety operational data. Perform data entry for tracking and Lifecycle safety databases, coding relevant medical terminology, writing descriptive narratives, generating queries pertinent to the case, performing quality control, assisting with reconciliation, driving case closure, coordinating translations
Receive and document incoming telephone calls, faxes or emails from investigative sites or other sources reporting safety da

Certificates, License information

Health Care Professional with an active license to practice in nursing pharmacy or other health care fields (Example Nurses, Pharmacist, ASN, BSN, PharmD) is a requirement in addition to:

2-3 years related customer service or pharmaceutical experience.
Active license to practice in good standing
Computer Skills

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
Experience using Salesforce/CRM and softphone preferred
Additional skills

Ability to communicate well both verbally and in written form
Active listen skills
Team player with a positive attitude
Strong Logic and reasoning aptitudes required
Ability to work remotely when requested
Must have a quiet office space free of interruption to conduct professional calls on behalf of a client.
Must have internet connection with speeds of 15MBPS upload and 15 MBPS download
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
