Network System Administrator

Your Role:

As part of our IT team, you will provide daily administration of a network, servers and storage environments involving tasks such as monitoring network performance, performance tuning, troubleshooting issues.
This includes improving our IT landscape by implementing new products according to our security standards. Additionally, you'll be providing high level support for our internal customers.



Main Responsibilities:

Ensure network security and connectivity
Carry out the configuration Networking products ( Routing and Switching equipment, Load balancer, Firewalls and VPN's)
Management and participation in IT projects
Search for new products and tools to improve everyone's work
Support and align enterprise goals by organising and managing IT services and functions across the life cycle
Troubleshoot server, software and hardware issues
Provide high level support for our internal customers.
Perform technical training
Document IT procedures and user manuals

Skills to Create the Difference:

We are looking for a professional with experience in:

Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, ...)
Several years of professional experience in a complex, heterogeneous system landscape
Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching and firewall administration
Active Directory knowledge
Administrative scripting with Powershell
Safety-oriented thinking, high affinity for IT security
Basic knowledge of ISO 27000
Independent, structured way of working
Good knowledge of English, knowledge of Spanish would be of advantage

We also appreciate experience in:

Experience with work tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket
Project Management
Background in SQL
Used to work with modern API technologies (OAuth, RESTful APIs, gRPC)
