Job Description
An opportunity exists for a proven Microsoft Business Intelligence Professional to join the Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) Practice of Client Consulting. The BI&A practice implements solutions using the latest enterprise BI and Data Warehousing technologies from Microsoft and Oracle. An opportunity has arisen for an individual with experience across the Microsoft BI stack to work alongside some of the most experienced Business Intelligence experts as well as industry experts in order to deliver innovative and powerful MS BI solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities
Successful candidates will recognize that the core of their skill set is formed through the pragmatic application of their technical expertise, allied to an ability to express their opinions to decision makers and problem solve.
The main areas of responsibility are:
To develop and deliver end-to-end MS BI solutions on customer data either as part of an overall team or working under your own supervision
To apply logical common-sense pragmatism in order to understand and address Business requirements with appropriate technology choices
To be able to present complex technical concepts and ideas in a business forum appropriately
To assist the sales team on occasional pre-sales opportunities
Taking accountability and responsibility for delivering consistently professional grade work to targets and on budget with a high level of professionalism
Demonstrable good presentation skills and a willingness to be active in the surrounding MS BI ecosystem (e.g. white paper generation / user groups / networking / speaking / blogging etc)

Microsoft BI Specialist should have:
Thorough understanding of BI, concepts and methods especially Kimball and Inmon design techniques
4+ years of experience in BI/Data Warehousing using Microsoft BI (MSBI /SQL BI) stack (SSIS, SSAS,SSRS,TSQL,C#)
Some experience in building robust ETL/BI Frameworks with Logging, Alerting, Control and Recover Mechanisms
Proficiency in building complex ETL (Star, Snowflake schemas, SCD) models and complex business logic with usage of TSQL procedures and functions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, trustworthy team player and leader (Onshore-Offshore model)
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
Solid academic record and idea executor

Building C# SSIS Custom Components for MS SQL SSIS 2008/2012/2014/2016
Building Migration Applications using SSIS, C# and TSQL Scripts
SSAS using KPI, Cube, Dimensions, Partitions, MDX, XMLA, ADO MD.NET

SSAS Tabular Model, DAX, Power BI, Excel Pivot Table and Charts
Working with SCRUM – Agile development methodology
MCSE-BI (Microsoft Certified Solution Expert - Business Intelligence) in SQL Server 2012-2014
