Membership Support Representative

Job Description

Nesso Community Institute is a startup organization in the industry of homeowner and condominium associations. We’ve been involved in the industry in many ways for over a year, but have made the next step of helping homeowners out with their associations by creating our platform of services. We provide HOA board open meeting recording and live stream service, while also providing an individualized personal assistant/concierge option for our subscribers.

As someone representing Nesso Community Institute, we expect world-class customer service, a professional demeanor and attitude, and someone that is passionate about homeowner/neighbor relations. We expect you to be timely and prepared as board meetings will not wait for you.

You will work with individual homeowners, community managers, board members, and industry vendors. Expect to be challenged by each interaction while performing your responsibilities, including making some real-time decisions when necessary.

To succeed in this role you need to have the ability to empathize, stay calm under pressure and keep a positive outlook on any situation.

Responsibilities:

Able to work flexible hours, board meetings are usually on weeknights (Monday - Thursday) starting around 5:30 pm and usually go for 1.5 hours, however, be prepared they can go on for many more hours (9 pm -10 pm)
Travel locally (~25 miles) to the association board meeting site
Be quick to set up the equipment for the recording and live stream (prepare to be at meetings ahead of time)
Be quick to break down the setup and leave once the meeting is over
Live stream and record board meetings with our equipment
Transferring of video/audio files to the Nesso online platform
Quietly transcribe summaries and meeting minutes while board meetings are on-going then transferring them to the Nesso online platform
Skillset needed:

Great keyboard efficiency, organized note taker and well versed in the English language
Intermediate understanding of computers (Windows or Apple operating system)
Understanding of how to use WiFi and mobile hotspot software and hardware.
Understanding of how webinars and video conference calls work.
Knowledge on how to use a tripod, webcam, microphone.
Able to handle, lift and transport the equipment safely (up to 50lbs)
Reliable mode of transportation
Bonus skills (not required):

In-depth knowledge and experience editing video/audio files
Homeowner and Condo association industry knowledge; such as legislation, best practices, common occurrences, etc..
Parliamentarian knowledge and experience
