Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Managing Director to join a bank and be responsible for the oversight of strategic business projects and initiatives. If you have previous experience within a European banking institution, and have what it takes to progress the business further, we at ceek would love to hear from you.
What is expected of you?
Oversee the strategic development of the company.
Define and set direction covering markets and product development.
Drive the talent strategy including location, right sizing and staff performance.
Be responsible for the growth and overall financial performance of the company.
Develop the organisational structure and target operating model for efficiency improvements.
Review current business processes within Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, IT, HR and Operations.
Ensure that the Employer operates within the legal framework and directives issued by the MFSA.
Internal and external communications within the parameters set by the Board.
Build rapport with clientele.
Provide overall program governance including project prioritisation.
Research and analyse industry, market, and competitors to make informed strategy decisions.
Requirements
Advanced degree, ideally a Master of Business Administration
A minimum of 8 years working within a European bank
A proven track record in senior management leadership
Background in organisational change and target operating model development.
Strong marketing and public relations experience.
Excellence organisational management skills.
Able to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget
Previous working experience with a Board of Directors
