Job Description
We are looking for a lead carpenter to lead one or two crews on multiple residential and commercial projects. Candidate will have experiene being a hands-on lead as well as teaching apprentice carpenters and laborers. Will have to read blueprints and be very involved with layouts, and reviewing work. Will likely be involved in subcontractor coordination and direction. Will have to track changes and deviations from plans to help Project Managers initiate change orders to owners.
Requirements
Has own tools, be able to work in a busy environment. Must be able to multi-task. Must be able to read blueprints, do take-offs, and make material lists. Be able to make projections about project progress. Spanish bilingual not required but a plus.
