Job Description
DataCompass is looking for lead backend engineer well versed in Python, Ruby, Javascript, Node, or C#.
We are looking for someone with:
-7+ years of full-stack engineering experience with an emphasis on backend development
-Experience with designing and implementing a scalable system including how to leverage micro-services when applicable
-Ability to produce high-quality software through unit & functional testing
-Deep understanding of how to build things that are secure and safe from attacks
-Experience with AWS or other IAAS or PAAS provider
-Experience with writing and executing complex SQL queries
-Experience with building enterprise level web applications using an MVC or similar framework
Bonus point for:
-Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
-Experience with working in an agile/scrum environment
-Experience with mentoring and helping younger developers
