Junior Financial Accountant

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Junior Financial Accountant to join a growing team that aims to provide customised risk management services. If you are newly qualified and looking for an exciting new challenge. We would like to hear from you.

What is expected of you?

Carry out day-to-day book-keeping duties.
Prepare management accounts and analyse and investigate variances;
Comply tax returns
Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising, and interpreting data.
Prepare special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets; developing forecasts.
Prepare financial regulatory reporting for clients.
Keep up-to-date with current financial regulations and accepted practices
Participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organisations.
Prepare draft financial statements for review of the board.
Eventually supervise several junior team members

What are you expected to bring?

Qualified / Part-qualified ACA/ACCA
Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of the preparation of financial statements
A positive ‘can do’ attitude
Innovative team player with the ability to work effectively under pressure
