Junior Accountant (based in Malta)

We are currently seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join an established international company in the banking industry. The accounts duties are outsourced to a leading international CSP in Malta, therefore the person chosen will be reporting to their team.

What is expected of you?

Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
Update financial data in databases
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports

What are you expected to bring?

Be in the process of obtaining the ACCA qualification
A good understanding of the preparation of financial statements
The ability to meet deadliness
An ability to work on own initiative and in a team
Numeracy and analytical skills
Good communication and problem-solving skills
