Java Developer

We currently have a vacancy for a Java Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.


Contribution in all phases of the software development lifecycle;
Design and development of Java/JEE applications;
Design, development and release of software components and building blocks;
Drafting technical documentation and prototyping;
Analysis and implementation of the integration for different information systems;
Provision of assistance with testing and deployment of software components;
Reporting the progress on the development activities to the project manager.

Minimum 12 years of combined relevant university studies and experience in the IT sector;
Minimum 7 years of professional experience using Java/J2EE;
Hands on experience in XML/XSL/XSLT and UML;
Proven expertise in Front-end technologies such as XSF, JSP, Spring MVC, Servlets, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, XJS, Ajax, JSON, GSON, XML/XSL/XSLT, XQuery, XPath and Java Swing;
Knowledge of Oracle relational databases and SQL;
Work experience with agile software development methodologies, RUP or Kanban;
Ability to integrate in an international environment and to cooperate well in a team;
Excellent command of English language.
