Java Application Architect

INTRASOFT International, a leading European IT solutions provider, is seeking on behalf of one of the European Institutions based in Luxembourg, a professional to cover the following opening:

Java Application Architect

Main responsibilities:

Architecture and design of information systems
Review of the architecture of existing systems
Design and development of architecture components and building blocks
Analysis of the integration of different information systems
Data analysis and data modelling
Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
Production of software architecture documents
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting

University Master Degree (or equivalent to 5 years higher education)
Extensive experience in Service Oriented Architecture
Good knowledge of Java and web application frameworks, scripting languages, web technologies and standards such as HTML5, XML
Good knowledge of Angular/React
Knowledge in use of relational database for persistence
Knowledge of SQL and/or PL/SQL
Knowledge of agile methodologies
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills; strong motivation, efficiency;
Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.
