IT Systems Administrator (Hardware/Infrastructure)

Are you looking for a great opportunity to work within a team of IT gurus? We are seeking to recruit an IT Systems Administrator to assist and oversee the IT infrastructure of our client’s company, operating within the Hospitality industry.

What is expected of you?

Provide general desktop support, configure applications, troubleshoot problems and conduct hardware and software repairs
Assist with the installation and maintenance of servers, workstations, VOIP (3CX) systems and other technologies
Site to site and client of VPN Design and Configuration (Cisco and Mikrotik)
Provide training to end-users on all software applications
Provide systems support, monitoring and security as well as interact with customers and staff on a technical level as required

What are you expected to bring?

Microsoft Certification or equivalent
Knowledge of Windows Server (2008/2012/2016) and latest desktop operating systems
The ability to manage a Windows Server Infrastructure and deployments
Knowledge in server virtualisation technologies such as VMWare /ESX or Microsoft HyperV/Virtual Server
A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking
Be extremely proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, operating systems and network issues
Good communication and documentation skills
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a rapid environment
Positivity, motivation and an ability to complete tasks independently
