IT SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

Reporting to the Head of IT, the IT Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for managing maintaining the Group’s IT systems at a granular level, liaise with external suppliers and technical service providers and plan and install new IT systems.

Responsibility:
Monitor and manage all installed systems and infrastructure
Administration of the bank’s applications and related databases
Drive to automate, Architect new systems and growth
Project & Implementation Management of new systems and relevant functionality
Security, business continuity and disaster recovery elements of the bank’s operational systems
Assist in maintaining the relevant documentation as required for internal and compliance requirements
Assistance with Office IT when the need arises
Support the development teams
Implement new production systems in cooperation with external parties
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Requirements:
Degree in IT Technical Systems or equivalent
Fluent in English, knowledge of another language preferable.
Have minimum 5 years’ experience working within an IT Engineering Role;
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies;
In-depth knowledge of Virtualization; Knowledge of Cloud platforms and architectures;
Technical depth on Enterprise IT Equipment;
Knowledge in HA clustering;
Experience in MS SQL Server database administration;
Microsoft technologies across the whole stack including cloud services;
Virtualization technologies; Networking technologies;
High standards of delivery; Attention to detail;
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player; Adequate level of written and verbal communication;
