IT Auditor

Willing to evolve within a leading firm? A key player offering a range of risk management services across a wide variety of industries is looking for an analytical-minded IT Auditor to perform independent reviews and audits of areas relating to Information Technology.

The role includes assessing risk, evaluating control effectiveness, identifying weaknesses, reporting on findings and developing recommendations.

What is expected of you?

Identifying areas of risk and assess the effectiveness of the related internal control framework
Assist inglead auditors in carrying out reviews and audits of areas involving IT infrastructure, security, processes and IT operations
Performing (or assist outsourced specialists in performing) vulnerability assessments/penetration testing of the networks, systems and web-based portals/services
Reporting to internal audit management the adequacy of policies, programmes, and activities of the companies IT function
Ensuring that working methodologies as detailed in the companies approved internal audit documented framework are adhered to while ensuring that audits are performed on a risk-based approach.
Assisting lead auditors in reporting to management on areas that need improvement, while ensuring an effective risk control environment,
Performing remote monitoring and continuous auditing tasks on an ongoing basis
Identifying training requirements in line with the IT auditor's defined responsibilities
Assisting in IT audit projects and eventually leading the projects

What are you expected to bring?

Any technical IT/Information Security qualifications (e.g. CISSP, CISA) would be considered an asset
Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT audit practices
Ability to work on own or as part of a team with minimal supervision
Outstanding report writing skills
Attention to detail and strong administrative skills
Analytical, stable and logical thinker
