Integration Infrastructure Developers/Architect

Job Description

 The mission of the IDP working with Service Design is to design and develop infrastructure services, including software, hardware and all related documentation.
 The IDP in Service Design mainly works within the processes related to design/development of the services and developing the architecture of the integration solutions.
 The services are most often delivered to service transition and service operation to be used to support HCL customers.
 The IDP working in Service Transition will develop solutions together with customers as well as driving the implementation of those.
 The IDP will be the third level support for the services developed by the service design group.
 The IDP defines how a service should be used and configured.
 The IDP in service design and service transition works together around release planning of the service objects. The IDP mainly works within the processes related to the setup of the runtime services.
 The IDP provides expertise in analyzing requirements, validating, testing, designing and developing infrastructure technical services as well as configuring infrastructure solutions for delivery.
 The IDP ensures that infrastructure services and solutions are designed to meet business requirements.
 The IDP participates in optimization of cost and in managing costs related to IT expenses.
 The IDP ensures compliance of the objects and the instances with the relevant processes, methods, frameworks and tools.
 The IDP ensures that development and configuration is done in accordance with requirements, plans and standards.
 The IDP manages lifecycle activities to continuously improve the technical services in order to meet requirements such as design corrections, quality improvements, new functionality, maintainability, efficiency, performance, security, availability and IT service continuity
 The integration infrastructure includes messaging software as IBM MQ and VCOM, Broker technologies such as IBM Integration BUS , gateways such IBM DataPower and a number of more technologies

Requirements

The Infrastructure Development Professional (IDP) is specialized in the area of Service Design/Transition for the integration services. Working with these technologies and services are evolving and exiting ant it belongs to an important and expanding set of services for our customer base. In addition to further enhance the existing portfolio of products there is also a big need for additional services within mobile integration, cloud services, API management, Internet of Things (IoT) etc.
Regardless of specialization it is important to have an understanding and insight in all lifecycle areas.
