Infrastructure Manager

What is expected of you?

Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures, and be responsible for IT services and infrastructure
Be responsible for ICT support
Act as a focal point for all local infrastructure contracts and purchasing requirements whilst maintaining supplier relationships and be aware of service level agreements
Collaborate with third party contractors to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes
Plan, organise, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations through monitoring of ICT Infrastructure performance
Oversee and determine time frames for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
Coordinate on-call shifts and leaves
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Preserve assets, information security and control structures
Build reports, dashboard and analytics solutions across the business
Ensure the stable operation, availability, reliability and service ability of the Company’s windows server, desktop and network environment, and any associated software and hardware
Ensure minimum downtime and optimal performance through proactive planning, testing, tuning, troubleshooting, forensics and monitoring
Analyse and provide timely resolution to end user software incidents and connectivity issues while adhering to business-aligned service level objectives
Provide orientation and training to end-users for all modified and new systems
Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.

What are you expected to bring?

5 years’ experience as an IT Manager, IT Coordinator or IT Senior Administrator
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related professional degree
Fluency in both oral and written English
Able to work flexible hours, be on call and work on own initiative
Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, end-user client applications, professional business applications, including domains, directories, email, database engines, etc
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in networking and telecommunications systems
General knowledge of 3CX phone systems and Cisco network equipment, routers and switches
Good knowledge of Internet technologies and concepts such as DNS, routing protocols, TCP and UDP and higher-level protocols such as HTTP, SMTP and FTP
Mikrotik / Ubiquiti / Cisco SMB experience would be considered an asset
