Information Security Engineer (m/f/d)

- Implement security improvements by assessing our current situation, anticipating requirements as well as evaluate trends
- Test for vulnerabilities and ensure that our safety guidelines are effective, and you will identify potentials for improvement
- Be open for security clearance
- Conduct periodic audits to determine security violations and inefficiencies
- Monitor for potential security breaches
- Investigate security breaches
- Develop information security plans and policies and
- Assist in building up a SOC team

- You have more than 3 years of experience within information security, where you gained direct experience with anti-virus, intrusion detection, firewalls, content filtering etc.
- You know all about risk assessment tools as well as about disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods
- You are experienced in designing secure networks, systems and application architectures this includes the designing, researching and developing of security policies, standards, and procedures
- You have a strong understanding of endpoint security solutions that includes file integrity monitoring and knowledge of data loss prevention is a must
- Your experiences with Snort/Suricata, OSSEC, OSSIM and ELK stack are welcomed
- You ideally hold a CEH / OSCP / GSEC / Security+ or any similar IT security certification
- You are capable of communicating network security issues to peers and management with your strong communications skills in both, technical as well as non-technical
- You are fluent in English, German is a plus
