HR Executive

Job Description

Are you looking for your next step in an HR environment? Have you mastered the foundations and feel you are now ready for more responsibility? Our client is looking for an HR Executive that is eager to learn new things, but also has the strategic mindset to suggest and implement new policies.

What is expected of you?

Prepare and administer the annual training budget in liaison with the CPO
Set key performance indicators for the team assigned
Lead, guide and monitor the training team, including the planning and allocation of work
Conduct organisation wide training needs analysis, identify the employee’s skills or knowledge gaps, in coordination with the departmental managers
Develop and maintain an electronic library of training or educational programmes offered to employees
Monitor and assess training and trainer effectiveness
Handle relations with educational institutions and oversee apprenticeship and internship programs
Sources new / more advantageous training providers
Prepare monthly and annual reports on training conducted for top management review
Direct and coordinate preparation and update of job descriptions
Act as a link between department managers and union representatives
Ensure compliance with data protection, equality and employment legislation
Develop and maintain the company’s HR policies
Investigate and prepare documentation for industrial tribunal cases
Handle issues such as long-term absence and sick leave management
Assist in the integration of foreign nationals through phone and web interviews, cost refunding, and employment licences
Conduct entrance / exit interviews, as required
Prepare documents for work permit applications and training schemes

Requirements

What are you expected to bring?

An Advanced level standard of education or higher
At least 1 years’ relevant experience
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
Good organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Initiative
Fluency in English
