Job Description

Do you have excellent leadership and negotiation skills together with a strong Law background? A leading mid-tier audit, tax and advisory firm is seeking a Head of Legal to run their legal department. The chosen candidate will manage and oversee a team of lawyers within the International Client Services Department.

What is expected of you?

Managing and leading a team of lawyers
Advise internal departments on day-to-day issues, covering a number of factors, such as; employment law, data protection, regulatory matters etc.
The legal budget management, cross-border business
Litigation management, such as attending court sittings on behalf the company and appointing a judicial representative of the organization
Contributing to the business’s strategy and decision making processes alongside department leaders advising the firm on legal and corporate matters
Mentoring and training staff within the legal team
Developing new service lines and implementing best practice in service delivery

Requirements

What are you expected to bring?

A Law degree
A minimum of 7 years’ work experience within the legal sector
A strong legal, corporate or the financial services background
Proficiency of MS Word and Excel
Be highly meticulous and organized
Good leadership skills and the ability to work towards a unified direction
Good problem-solving skills, and be a result and service-driven individual
Proactive, detail-oriented and multitasking attitude
Can inspire trust and confidence in others
