FRONTEND DEVELOPER (f/m/x)

To further improve the user experience of our clients and to develop new, innovative products, we are growing our WebApp team.

We are currently seeking a Frontend Developer (f/m/x) who enjoys fiddling with browser quirks once in a while, but also appreciates the ease and beauty of systems that are completely under their control. Is it you? Phenomenal!

At Architrave, we build state of the art software for Digital Real-Estate Management. We focus on a deep understanding of workflows and organisational principles of the industry that we combine with modern web development in order to provide robust, intuitive and inspiring business software. First released in April 2014, the novelty in design and speed of our web-based document management system has gained huge attention in the industry.

The close relationship with our customers requires Agile development techniques, with constant reviews and iterative improvements of features and workflows. We are a small, fast moving team with a short release-cycle to ensure our code goes live as fast as possible.

YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Bring your expertise and knowledge into our amazing team, make it even smarter, and help us to fill the gap between beautiful User Interfaces, complex functionality and performant code
* Make our customers as happy as possible, solving all the challenges that come with it
* You are responsible to validate design prototypes and implementing finalised designs
* Implement new infrastructural components

WHAT IT NEEDS TO BE OUR FRONTEND DEVELOPER

* Proven coding skills in JavaScript (ES 2015 and more recent), CSS and HTML
* Good understanding of git is very important
* Experience building single-page-applications (e.g. with React, Backbone, Marionette, Angular)
* Good understand of the HTTP 1 protocol (RFC7230)
* Good understanding of how Promises/A+ work
* You love maintainable code and automated tests - or you love to learn it
* Quick learning and enthusiastic personality
* You know to say that you do not (yet) know something but you're able to make sure to have an answer next time


WHAT BRINGS YOU EVEN CLOSER TO BE OUR FRONTEND DEVELOPER

* You have worked in an agile environment before and you are familiar with Scrum and Kanban
* Experience with agile tools like JIRA / Confluence
* Open mindset for a wide range of front-end technologies & frameworks
* Experience with Websockets is a plus
* Bonus points: Good understanding of the HTTP 2 protocol
* Basic German is a plus
