This is an exciting opportunity in Stockton on Tees for an Intercompany Lead
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
•Responsible for planning, scheduling, and supervising the work of an accounts payable team.
•Supervises a group of accounts payable clerks within the established accounting policies of the corporation.
•Monitors records of amounts owed and assures prompt payment of invoices.
•Recommends changes in methods and procedures to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable unit.
•Coaches and mentors accounts payable clerks; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
Requirements
Skills and Experience Required:
•Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required, including some supervisory experience.
•Manages a team of up to four people
•Ensures Call in Statements and Open Item Statements are distributed and submitted to the Corporate deadlines set.
•Ensures all intercompany receipts through the netting process and bank transfers received are created and applied to the SLA.
•Manages the Fast Track processes and ensures all timelines are met, Monthly and daily
•Ensures all balance sheet reconciliations are completed to deadlines and ensures all journal entries are booked timely for CBS and European region
•Ensures the Intercompany out of balance report has a green metrics and all reconciled and all related variances are reported to Corporate Accounting within the global deadlines
•Ensures SOx compliance for the Intercompany processes and drives improvements to standardise the processes within the European region
•reporting in to the Accounts manager
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
•College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, ACCA or CIMA (fully qualified or part qualified)
