Financial Accountant

What is expected of you?

Carry out day-to-day book-keeping duties
Prepare management accounts and analyse and investigate variances
Comply tax returns
Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising, and interpreting data
Prepare special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets; developing forecasts
Prepare financial regulatory reporting for clients
Keep up-to-date with current financial regulations and accepted practices
Participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organisations
Prepare draft financial statements for review of the board
Eventually supervise several junior team members

What are you expected to bring?

Qualified / Part-qualified ACA/ACCA
Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of the preparation of financial statements
A positive ‘can do’ attitude
Innovative team player with the ability to work effectively under pressure
