Finance Manager (Part Time)

Job Description

Overview of Role
The Finance Manager will be responsible to oversee the financial strategy and obligations of the Company. The Finance Manager will present and report historical financial information, shall be responsible for monitoring the company’s financial position and identifying and reporting on the company’s financial future. He shall report to the Directors of the Company
This is an hourly position with flexible hours that will be based in Malta.

Key Responsibilities
Recording and reporting accurate and timely historical financial information of the Company;
Responsible for monitoring the company’s financial position taking into consideration risk and liquidity;
Monitoring cash balances and cash forecasts;
Overseeing the capital structure of the company;
Carrying out financial forecasting and modelling;
Reviewing of the Company’s financial statements;
Reviewing of the Company’s Bank Regulation Returns, Reconciliation Statements, Income Tax Statements and VAT Returns;
Ensuring that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government authorities;
Maintaining relations with external auditors/advisors and investigate their findings and recommendations;
Reporting risk issues to the board of directors;
Maintaining banking relationships;
Maintaining internal control policies and procedures for the Company;
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure the smooth running of the finance department and the business as a whole;
Working closely with the Groups Finance Department to ensure the smooth running of the finance function;
Maintaining a working knowledge of Maltese regulatory requirements and finance policies and procedures, and monitoring enactments.


Hold a degree or professional qualification in accounting;
4+ years post qualification experience in a role relevant to this post
