ERP Business & Data Analyst

6 month contract, potential for extension

Global Technology Leader is seeking a Business and Data Analyst with a background in finance / procurement and with previous ERP projects experience for a large data mapping project as part of a major integration project with numerous ERP systems.

The project involves building data extracts from a number of ERP systems and building reports for these. This role will involve working with the various ERP teams to get data mapping completed, test plans in place etc. as well as documenting specifications for reports.

Key Responsibilities

Introduction of Enterprise Spend Report project to local IT and Business users and initiate Data Mapping.
Assist in Data Mapping with local IT when required, review of same and request changes when necessary.
Review data with Data Team after initial SQL is written and assess to data mapping.
Review Business Data provided for UAT.
Perform UAT on the Enterprise Spend Report Data versus Business Data.
UAT Power BI before initial launch of Enterprise Spend Report on Power BI
Support the business lead with training requirements (including update to training material & end user training)
Support the business lead with requests on business data cleansing with existing suppliers
Attendance at project meetings

Key Requirements

2+ years Business / Data Analyst experience
Background in Finance / Procurement processes
Previous ERP experience
Project Management experience is highly beneficial
3rd level qualification in a relevant subject
Strong user in excel
Excellent written and oral communications, particularly with other cultures
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a global team
