Job Description
EMI/EMC compliance Engineer
Location: Menlo Park, CA
Rate: Open (Please specify)
Tenure: 6 months and extendable
· Understands Product Safety project work to and per core standards UL/IEC/EN60950 and IEC62368
· Understands EMC project work evaluating to Emissions and Immunity standards for the ITE, Audio, Video and Entertainment products to EN5032 and EN55035
· Experience working with HW, SW, Program Managers and other cross functions teams to configure product for Product Safety and EMI evaluations on site, at 3rd party ODM vendors, and 3rd party certification labs.
· Prepare test plans and reports for Product Safety and EMC project work.
· Be able to go to a 3rd party test lab and set-up equipment (EUT) for testing and advise the tester of the testing needed and supervise it getting done
· To work with compliance labs to debug failures and resolve issues working with the right team.
· Other duties: Agile PG&C Support
· Know how to conduct EMC tests per FCC / the EU EMC Directive
