Embedded Software Engineer - Performance OS

Your Role:

As an Embedded Software Engineer - Performance OS you will participate in projects to develop the platform of Autonomous Driving (AD) ECUs. You will work on a POSIX compliant OS (Linux, QNX) setting up the kernel, programming drivers, configuring the schedule, integrating a proprietary middleware, bringing up new boards...

Main Responsibilities:

Develop in user and kernel space
Debug at register level
Analyse customer requirements
Document and write technical manuals of the delivered software


Skills to Create the Difference:

We are looking for a professional with experience in:

Real Time operating systems compliant with POSIX (specially QNX)
Kernel development and device drivers
Building a system with Yocto
Linux Device tree and uBoot
C/C++ programming
Previous experience in Python is appreciated
Shell scripting
Previous experience in Real-time design and programming
Basic electronics – capability to understand schematics and use an oscilloscope (yes, we use them)
Experience in team-based work, using issue tracker like JIRA, collaboration software like Confluence, and version control systems like SVN or GIT (Bitbucket)
VxWorks experience is more than welcome
English fluency! All our customers are outside Spain
