This is an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes for an Electrical Engineer.
Cummins Electrified Power are a leading provider offlexible battery solutions for demanding automotive and powerapplications .
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
By applying your specialized knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices in the design, development, analysis and release of battery solutions.
Designing and developing components for automotive batteries (bus bars, wiring, harness etc.)
Drawing up project plans and circuit diagrams using computer-assisted engineering and design software
You will work with other engineering disciplines and cross-functional teams to resolve product issues.
Requirements
Qualifications
Skills and Experience Required:
Proficient user of PTC design software is essential (CREO / Wildfire / Pro-E)
Knowledge of battery testing procedures (End of line, functional and safety) for automotive applications is beneficial but not essential
Relevant harness, battery and e-machine vehicle integration knowledge (powertrain and/or entire vehicle) is beneficial but not essential
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required. Advanced degrees are a benefit
Compensation and Benefits
In return we can offer a salary between £44,000 and £54,000 (dependent onexperience).
