Job Description
REI is looking for a full-time DevOps engineer to join our PHP development team. Our team develops a proprietary CMS and Backoffice for very important regulated gambling websites.
What you will do:
Your primary responsibility will be to help build, deploy and maintain our mission-critical production systems that are scalable and resilient (both on internal infrastructure and third-party cloud providers) and can operating at high scale, while maintaining guaranteed uptime.
Your role will include unifying our team’s methodologies and processes within the organisation. You will collaborate with developers, System administrators and database administrators to refine our team’s build, test, and release practices .
You will also oversee the deployment in production for our website and backoffice updates.
You will also help to set up a full plan for mastering continuous integration, automated testing and automated self-service release management.

Requirements
Bachelor / Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)
Deep understanding of Unix systems and Bash including strong shell scripting skills
Deep understanding of PHP and MySQL
Understand key server security concepts and preferred implementations
Enjoyment of collaboration, teamwork and iterative development in a fun environment
Preferred:
Experience with using CI tools such as Jenkins, Travis, TeamCity, GitLab and others
Experience with containerization (Docker)
Programming experience scripting languages such as PHP, and Javascript frameworks
Experience with the creation and integration of micro-service infrastructures
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)
