Job Description:

What will you do?

· Collaborate and follow agile tools and principles in building high quality software with bi-weekly sprints delivery updating daily stand-ups to the respective team scrum master.

· Code, test, debug , implement and support a complex Infrastructure management applications with REST based API frameworks.

· Analyze, debug and resolve production issues related including but not limited to infrastructure, applications performance, system latency and other IaaS services.

· Provide development/L3 production support along with other team members.

· Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.

· Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business.

· Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities.

· Escalate on breaching SLAs/OLAs, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis.

· Build RESTful services for consumption internally.

· Contributing to Functional and End-to-End test suites with other upstream and downstream applications.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

· Strong technical developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Springboot, REST based API programming, Ansible/Puppet DevOps Automation tooling, open source technologies, Spring and DB (Redis, Postgress, Oracle, SQL Server)

· Restful Frameworks Jersey, Spring, Flask etc.

· DevOPS pipelines, Github, IntelliJ, Jenkins, Secure coding practices, CI/CD Pipelines

· Configuration Management Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt etc.

· Container Technologies Openshift, Docker etc., Open Source Software such as Apache Libraries

· Working knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, distributed caching solutions and exposure to agile methodologies

· Knowledge of version control systems like SVN, GitHub and build frameworks like TeamCity and Jenkins

· Java 8, Spring w/ Annotation based configuration, RESTful web services, JPA/Hibernate, Maven, Git

Nice-to-have

· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

· Quick learner with ability to pick up new technologies/skills and business knowledge

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with exceptional communication skills required to interface with a highly engaged client group

· Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively
