Job Description
We are currently seeking to recruit a Deputy Operations Director on behalf of a client operating within the transport industry. If you have previous experience in a senior role within operations, ideally within the same industry, ceek would like to hear from you!
What is expected of you?
Manage the daily operational activities in accordance with the agreed SLAs, contract requirements and other operational goals
Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures and promote a “safety first” culture
Financial and operational planning of the departments, including KPIs and targets
Identify and maximise new commercial development by implementing new services and products
Support the HR department in maintaining positive employee and industrial relations
Implement quality assurance processes to measure service levels and KPIs
Promote the use of innovative technological solutions to improve customer and employee experience
Reviewing and investigating accidents to establish possible causes and suggest risk minimization
Ensure compliance with the regulations and policies relevant to surrounding frameworks
Requirements
What are you expected to bring?
People management skills
Familiar knowledge of aspects surrounding the transport industry, such as: business models, cost and revenue structures, transport planning etc
Innovative and decisive attitude and ability to implement effective solutions
Effective communications skills in English, and ideally in Spanish or Italian as well
In possession of a degree related to transport, operations or logistics
Five years’ experience in senior management position within the operational/service department in a passenger transport company
Specific knowledge of international transport legislation and other related regulatory frameworks
