Cyber Security Officer

A leading company within the financial services industry is seeking to recruit a ‘Cyber Security Officer’. So if you fit the bill, we want to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

Formulate and maintain system security plans, information security policies, procedures and guidelines
Analyse systems, review security architectures, and propose information security solutions
Perform assessment and security compliance checks, including network penetration testing, and vulnerability scans
Assess security events and logs via sophisticated cyber security and event management tools
Observe network defence, identification, authentication, access control, data protection mechanisms, and data transfer mechanisms
Develop threat models and security risk assessments, and recommend mitigations and countermeasures to address risks, vulnerabilities and threats
Develop IT disaster recovery plans and assist in business continuity provisions
Deliver information security training, awareness, and guidance to users

What are you expected to bring?

A National Qualification Framework Level 6 in a relevant field of study. A post graduate Degree in Cyber Security is considered as asset
A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in ICT, preferably in cyber security or disaster recovery planning
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
