Job Description
Cost Control Specialist Job Duties:
Perform monthly closing tasks in according to deadlines, expected quality levels and Group rules
Control the quality of the cost input data
Develop annual cost budgets, quarterly forecasts, and 3-year strategic plans and input the numbers into company’s planning system
Recommends financial actions by assessing options according to organization goals
Prepares cost reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information
Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
Contribute to improvement of information processes, methods and systems
Perform annual closing tasks: physical inventories consolidation, variances analysis and action plans
Requirements
Skills and qualifications
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
3-5 years of cost monitoring experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, negotiation skills and analytical thinking
Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy is required
Superior skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
Reporting skills, informing others, risk-taking, database design, strategic planning, forecasting, financial diagnosis, financial software analyzing information, statistical analysis
Financial modeling experience and understanding of financial statements.
