Corporate Lending Officer (based in Malta)

What is expected of you?

Prepare and review loan documentation and draft credit requests
Undertaking the customer, industry, financial and credit analysis and escalating to Credit Risk as required
Support the presentation to the Local Lending Credit Committee
Ensure the Banks collateral is protected throughout the duration of the loan, by reviewing, preparing, managing and maintaining the collateral documentation
Conduct regular credit reviews and follow up on the daily monitoring processes
Respond to customer's requests in a timely manner and in line with the credit procedures

A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
A good understanding of lending products and services
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent English and Maltese verbal and written communication skills
