Compliance Officer (based in Malta)

We are looking to recruit an analytically minded professional, with a solid understanding of Maltese AML legislation, as a Compliance Officer for a leader in the maritime sector. If you are up for the challenge, we at ceek would love to hear from you.

What is expected of you?

Develop efficient AML/CFT and compliance policies and procedures
Maintain compliance registers
Prepare compliance reports
Act as the data protection administrator for EU GDPR purposes
Update and improve compliance and risk modules
Perform risk reviews
Mentor and coach colleagues on compliance matters

What are you expected to bring?

A minimum of 2 years’ risk and regulatory compliance
An excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
Previous compliance reporting experience
An understanding of AML/CFT and EOTI compliance
The ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal direction
A team player attitude and have strong interpersonal skills
A precise and structured approach to work
