Commercial Executive

Do you consider yourself to be a strong negotiator? Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you meticulous and have a can-do attitude? If so, a client of ours operating within the FMCG industry is seeking to recruit a Commercial Executive to join their dynamic team!

What’s expected of you?

Prepare the necessary purchasing requirements documentation
Monitor the progress of the purchasing process and make sure they are complaint with the current procedures and regulations
Ensure that all contractual and sub-contract arrangements are commercially sound, legal and ethical
Identify and understand contractual risks and exposures
Negotiate contracts and monitor the quality of service provided
Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
Carefully monitor the stages of the purchasing process to ensure adherence to specifications
Identify the purchasing needs and monitor stock levels
Produce reports and statistics
Maintain relationships with suppliers

What are you expected to bring?

A Diploma level qualification in a related subject
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in leadership or supervisory post related to a commercial role
Previous experience in an office environment and accounts will be considered an asset
Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
Organisation and administration skills
