Chief Operations Officer (based in Malta)

We are currently seeking to recruit a Chief Operations Officer for one of our clients, an independent investment consulting and portfolio management provider. What is expected of you?

Lead and motivate employees in order to achieve a high level of performance and dedication
Promote the company culture and vision by establishing proper policies and performance targets
Assist CEO in the day to day running of the business
Participate in expansion activities (new projects/funds, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
Manage relationships with partners/administrator/brokers/law firms etc.
Oversee daily operations (NAVs, compliance, any IT and HR Department relevant issues)
Oversee the smooth running of Software (Arcoba, BBG Aim + AML/KYC software) and various websites
Be responsible for the coordination of the software and ensure Business Continuity
Make sure that deadlines are being met, documentation is up to date and in compliance with all the regulations
Liaise with the Compliance officer on day to day procedures

What are you expected to bring?

Proven experience in a similar role within the financial industry
Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing etc.
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Outstanding decision making and problem-solving capacity
