Business Solutions Specialist / SAP, Track & Trace

Multinational Pharmaceutical Company has an opening for a Track & Trace Business Solutions Specialist to join their SAP Team. The successful candidate will support the organisations Track & Trace initiative by providing IT expertise in areas of supply chain and warehousing. Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Systems you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of track & trace solutions throughout EU as well as providing SAP project and support to order to cash processes.
Responsibilities Include:
• Monitoring TraceLink EU serialization transactions and resolving issues
• Onboarding new EU third Party manufacturing organizations with TraceLink
• Working with EU 3PLs to triage and resolve serialization issues
• Coordinating the set -up master data for EU TPM serialized sku’s
• Providing subject matter expertise on TraceLink serialization to European sites and business units.
• Being a contributing member of the Serialization Core Team.
• Provides production support within the EAME region to business applications when required. This may involve SAP ECC6 OTC modules and multiple interfaces to third party (3PL) systems.
Key Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or other related discipline.
• Experience with Serialization (EPCIS / Line Serial Systems)
• Demonstrated experience working with EPCIS systems (ideally TraceLink); line serial systems such as Antares
• A minimum of three years SAP ECC configuration and process experience. (Primarily SD, WM, and MM).

• Experience in a GxP regulated environment is preferred.
• Experience with warehousing systems is preferred (serialization & aggregation methodologies).
• Three or more years’ experience related to information systems design, development, maintenance and/or functional experience.
• Sales, distribution and planning process knowledge preferably in Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Project management experience, including strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to learn new and different technologies to a working depth quickly
• Exposure to software development and query tools.
• Exposure to ABAP processing and related SAP interface requirements.
• Able to understand the business needs relating to assigned applications and interfaces.
• Participates in the requirements gathering, analysis and design process for business initiatives and process improvements. This also involves working with internal/external customers and vendors.
• Provides technical assistance in identifying / evaluating systems solutions to meet business requirements, to rapidly analyse and complete business critical tasks.
• Supports system development through providing clear specifications and adequate testing data in the development system
• Configures SAP system settings and options.
• Plans and executes unit and integration testing in the development system.
• Provides support and assistance with for user testing and validation testing.
• Supports preparation/cutover and conversion activities for key project initiatives
• Works on assigned projects, ensuring all team members meet the project requirements, and demonstrates the ability to easily prioritize assignments and tasks in compliance with project milestones.
• Works with users on a global basis to coordinate information exchange and knowledge transfer with regard to support and system changes
• Maintains service level agreement as agreed with business units
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure that solutions provided to clients, team members and management are in line with best practice
