Business Analyst (IT Infrastructure)

The Company.

For one of our clients, an international Shared Service Centre based in Barcelona, we are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst with IT background.

The Job.

In this role you will be the intermediary between the business and the IT infrastructure department analysing, validating and communicating the impact of change management processes on the business.

Your Responsibilities:

– Acting as trusted business partner to local business stakeholders at all levels to identify and qualify on business requirements
– Optimizing the analysis by applying different techniques
– Support the solution architects and development teams to identify and articulate options for potential solutions that meet the business requirements
– Ensure that proposed solutions are consistent with the overall IT and business strategy
– Support change management teams to identify main impact of proposed solutions to end users in their daily activities
– Obtain sign-off from the different stakeholders for business requirements, solutions specification document and for final deliverables
– Conduct training or provide support to the training department to ensure a smooth transition
– Act as a change agent in the organization

The Profile.

– You have an excellent level of English (written/spoken)
– You have min. 5 years of experience as business analyst within an international environment
– You have an IT background/IT experience
– You were involved in change management processes (preferred)
– You are experienced in writing high quality documentation in English
– You have an academic degree in Engineering/Technology/Computer Science
– You can work independently without need for a lot of guidance
– You have an analytical, creative and curious mind
– You are resilient towards workload and pressure

– You are rigorous and detail oriented
