Business Analyst (I.T.)

We are seeking to recruit a Business Analyst for one of our clients. The selected candidate will be responsible of defining requirements, scope and objectives and formulate reports in line with business objectives and strategies. What is expected for you?

Ability to determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
Be able to construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
Be able to improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
Able to recommend controls by identifying project milestones, phases and elements, forming project teams if required
Be able to define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project teams if required
Ensure to prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing and summariing information and trends
Be able to contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Be able to validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models
Ensure to conduct and coordinate research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments within the group, to enhance operations and efficiency levels
Good knowledge to interpret, evaluate and interrelate research date and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making, recommend solutions to management
Such research to be conducted for all company’s business units including hospitality, purchasing, F&B, HR and E commerce
Be able to perform weekly and/or monthly reviews and analyses of current processes
Be able to suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support the recommendations; actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
Ensure to create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
Conduct insightful, adhoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

Diploma/Degree in Software Development
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a software development environment
Previous experience using web client technologies including HTML, CSS, Java Script
Experience in Business Analysis, IT, engineering or related discipline
Ability to work within tight time-frames and under constant pressure, seeking to deliver the best, fastest and simplest solution every time
Ability to work independently and within a team
Extremely organised with strong time-management skills
