Big Data Architect

Technical
- Hands on experience in Kafka deployment
- Very good understanding of Kafka architecture (Cluster, Node and Zookeeper design)
- Knowledge to transform data into topics, streaming processors in Kafka
- Knowledge on Schema registry, AVRO format, Kafka REST proxy,KSQL,Java
- Good awareness of Confluent tools (Control centre, data balancer, replicator,security control REST Proxy ,MQTT proxy etc.)
- Experience in writing and understanding design (HLD,LLD) documents

Managerial
- Ability to manage key stakeholders (Chief Architect, Transformation Directors, CXOs)
- Very good spoken and written English skills
- Past customer handling experience
- Ability to work in a multi-partner environment
- Ability to challenge and contribute in large program boards / discussions (involving multiple partners and the customer)
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment where is scope is constantly changing

Good to have (some might be very aspirational but we can invest in training)
Technical
- Understanding/awareness of Big Data architecture - Hadoop HDFS, Teradata
- Understanding/awareness of MongoDB and Cassandra
- Understanding/awareness of Ansible, OpenShift, Dockers, Kunernetes

Managerial
- Past experience of delivery at a banking / financial services customer
- Understanding of banking regulations like OpenBanking / PSD2

Technical
