Audit Associate

Job Description

• Assisting and supporting the audit team in their day-to-day functions
• Drafting financial statements in compliance of audit functions
• Planning, directing and performing all financial audits
• Preparing and managing audit budgets
• Creating internal audit systems and procedures
• Reviewing and assessing performance of audit interns and assistants
• Resolving client inquiries and issues relating to audit functions
• Preparing audit reports and statements for the top management on various financial aspects
• Ensuring compliance of best practices of all audit procedures and standards
• Training and mentoring audit interns and assistants

Requirements

• Partially or fully qualified in ACCA
• Knowledgeable in IFRSs, GAPSE and GAPSME
• Knowledge of Financial Software, Corporate Finance and Legal Compliance
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Ability to take strategic decisions
• Impeccable leadership skills
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
